William “Bill” Melchior ~ Senior National Trainer 

Bill has more than 20 years experience and knowledge in new home sales. Through Bill’s quick wit and dynamic presentation skills, he engages his classes and motivates students to apply successful selling techniques to new home sales. He has a fundamentalist style that brings praise from both attendees and managers nationwide. 

Prior to joining HYLAND BAY, Bill has served as Regional Sales Manager, Director of Sales & Marketing, Vice President and Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing for such homebuilders as Pulte Homes, American Heritage Homes, Calton Homes, Murry Homes, and The Lakeway Company. 

A leader within the industry, he has been named Salesperson of the Year in three major markets and is the recipient of numerous MAME and PRISM awards.

Barbara Tarrish ~ New Home Sales Trainer 

A true sales professional, and principal in the industry, Barbara brings to HYLAND BAY 30 years of diverse real estate expertise, with over 25 years concentrated in new home sales. Her hands-on experience as a sales associate, sales manager and vice president of sales and marketing for some of the most prestigious builders in America, such as D. R. Horton, UDC, A. F. Sterling, and Coventry Homes by Del Webb, supports her training expertise. Barbara brings her insight and wisdom providing a very “real” training experience.

Barbara’s honest, candid, “real-life” scenarios are presented in a practical and straightforward manor, which is easily related to and understood. She tells it like it is, and creates an atmosphere of excitement and enlightenment, which makes her a favorite among the real estate professionals who attend her workshops. 

She holds numerous awards, including three-time Sales Manager of the Year for Southern Arizona Home Builders Association. She is also a Southern Arizona Home Builders Association Life Director, as well as Sales and Marketing and Public Relations Chairperson. 

Michael “Mike” Mulvena ~ New Home Sales Trainer 

With more than 18 years in the real estate industry as both owner and designated broker, Mike was an Associate Broker for two Robson Communities (Sun Lakes and Saddle Brooke), as well as a Sales Associate for Estes Homes and New World Homes. He has evolved his talents and knowledge into a full-time Trainer and Mentor/Coach. 

Mike’s straightforward and enthusiastic approach in the classroom enhances his relationship with his attendees and offers them a realistic viewpoint of today’s market.
